Inside, the rear seats offer ample legroom, knee room, and under-thigh support, making it comfortable for taller passengers. There’s also a panoramic sunroof, adding a spacious feel to the interior.

The rear seats can recline, providing additional comfort, and come with two adjustable pebble headrests. The center headrest, however, is not adjustable. The rear passengers have access to AC vents, a USB-C port, and storage space for small items like phones.

Front Cabin Features

Moving to the front, the ROXX is a rear-wheel drive variant, evident from the lack of a 4×4 lever. The center console features an electronic parking brake and a new infotainment system. The dashboard is fitted with soft-touch materials, adding a premium feel. Harman Kardon speakers provide a great audio experience, and there’s also an option to customize fragrances within the cabin.

The driver’s seat is electronically adjustable, and the instrument cluster is similar to the one found in the XUV700. Ventilated seats, a wireless charger, and a cleverly designed armrest that opens as a single unit (though it looks like two separate units) are among the many thoughtful features.

The rear door opens in a similar manner to the three-door Thar, but the boot space in the ROXX is significantly larger. Additionally, the fuel lid can be opened from inside the vehicle, and the rear glass comes with a wiper and defogger.

Driving Experience

Starting the engine, it’s noticeably refined with minimal vibration and noise. The steering is quite responsive, lighter than the three-door Thar, making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The vehicle feels stable even at higher speeds, thanks to the well-tuned suspension and improved chassis. The acceleration in Zoom mode is robust, providing a significant pushback when you hit the gas.

One of the standout features is the adaptive cruise control, which adds to the convenience during long drives. The handling is sharp, with a crisp steering response that requires minimal correction. Body roll is significantly reduced compared to the three-door Thar, making for a more planted drive, especially during cornering.

Comfort and Features

The ventilated seats are a great addition, especially for long drives in hot weather. The panoramic sunroof enhances the overall ambiance, providing a more open feel to the cabin. The infotainment system is user-friendly, and the Harman Kardon audio setup delivers clear and immersive sound.
